Test No. 6 of the competition:
The Springboard
At the "GO", the competitor must climb as quickly as possible to the top of the 2.74 m Weymouth pine log installed using planks. Once at the top, they must completely cut the vertical softwood log with a diameter of 28 cm attached above.

STANDING
SINGLE BUCK
In a Weymouth pine, a wood of Ø 45 cm, from a template starter (start to place the saw), at "GO", the competitor must saw a perfectly whole slice as quickly as possible.
DOUBLE BUCK
HOT SAW
In a Weymouth pine, a 40 cm diameter wood. Chainsaw stopped, both hands on the wood, at the "GO", the competitor must cut 2 perfectly whole slices in 3 cm, as quickly as possible, starting from the top, then from the bottom and finally from the top.
OFF-MARKET
In a Weymouth pine, a 32 cm diameter log placed vertically: thanks to a very precise technique of placing axe blows, at "GO", the competitor must cut the log in 2 as quickly as possible.
